McComb, Miss (May 16, 2013) Advisory Board Members and Staff from The Salvation Army of McComb, Miss has responded to a request from first responders in Woodville, Miss. to provide snacks, hydration, and hot meals at the scene of a search for missing swimmer.
A Salvation Army feeding unit and team will be available to first responders, media, and family members providing hydration, snacks, and meals throughout the day and evening.
“The public has trusted The Salvaiton Army with the resources to provide support to communites in need at their point of need,” stated Thad Hicks of Divisional Director of Disaster Services for The Salvation Army. “The Salvation Army been requested to support the operation until the search and rescue has concluded.”
