Brunswick, GA – The Salvation Army in Brunswick received additional personnel as well as mobile feeding units on Sunday to support Glynn County. The personnel include an Incident Command Team to support service delivery. The Incident Command team includes several different functions including liaison, logistics, safety, finance, administration and more.
Mobile feeding units arrived from Americus, Bainbridge, Elberton and Lawrenceville, Georgia. Additionally, a unit from Valdosta arrived to help in St. Mary’s to help those affected by Hurricane Matthew.
On Sunday, 1,347 meals, over 1,500 drinks and 900 snacks in the Brunswick and St. Mary’s areas. Food, hydration, emotional and spiritual care will continue to be provided as long as there is a need.
