Kincade Fire Talking Points (Wednesday, October 30)

Fire Info:

  • Fire started northeast of Geyserville late Wednesday, October 23
  • As of Wednesday morning (10-30) the fire was more than 76,000 acres and 30% contained
  • At least 206 structures have been destroyed and 40 structures have been damaged (check this link for the latest:
  • Two people (fire personnel and civilian) have been injured
  • 4,870 fire personnel are assigned to this fire
  • About 186,000 people have been evacuated in Sonoma County
  • Approximately 2,500 Sonoma County residents are using evacuation centers.
