Salvation Army spreads Gospel and the word .. about disaster services!

The Salvation Army spread both the Gospel and the word. The word about what services we offer during a disaster. The Dallas Office of Emergency Management hosted a Safety Extravaganza in recognition of National Preparedness Month on September 3, 2014 at Dallas City Hall Plaza. The Salvation Army set up a canteen, served cold water, and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ while explaining the integral services offered during a disaster to survivors and first responders. The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services continues this mission by offering training to Salvation Army staff, officers, and volunteers to both prepare them for a disaster and to prepare them to respond to a disaster.
