Lt. Camilo Rojas, Administrator for The Salvation Army in Fort Walton Beach, says they decided to host a drive-through food distribution after seeing a large increase in demand at their regular food pantry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of people we\u2019ve never seen before in our food pantry,\u201d said Rojas. \u201cSo we know there\u2019s a great need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, which was conducted as a drive-through, allowed for a greater number of people to be served in an environment that was safer for everyone.
