The water supplied by The Salvation Army of Georgia will be used in areas of critical need in Summerville such as schools, hospitals, and nursing homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Captain Jason Smith, The Salvation Army\u2019s presiding officer in Rome, Georgia, \u201cThe Salvation Army has a great working relationship with GEMA,\u201d adding confidently, \u201cGEMA identifies The Salvation Army as a critical partner and we work closely with them to respond quickly in times of need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSome people think The Salvation Army emergency disaster responses are only for hurricanes and floods,\u201d says The Salvation Army of Georgia Emergency Disaster Director, Lanita Lloyd. \u201cThe reality is that The Salvation Army stands ready to serve when any kind of emergency strikes.
