During the storm, part of the roof over the living room flew off forcing the couple into the office until the chimney collapsed through the roof. Then they took refuge under the few stable roof beams in the kitchen \u2013 all the while their small shih tzu\u00a0dogs cowered at their feet. When all was said and done, Harvey left at least $136,000 worth of damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Complicating the situation is the swarm of bees building honeycombs where the chimney fell through the roof. \u201cWe had to call a beekeeper to help us get rid of the colony,\u201d said Amy Park, the Zdansky\u2019s daughter-in-law. \u201cNow we need to move the honeycomb before a new colony comes in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During clean-up efforts, the Zdansky\u2019s daughter, Laura King, visited Lowe\u2019s for additional supplies and met several Salvation Army disaster workers. The team gave King a clean-up kit and spent several minutes sharing prayer with her. The Salvation Army later visited the Zdansky home to check on the family and cleaning efforts, delivering water and a food box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThese are just the material things,\u201d George said sitting in the shade outside the 28-foot trailer he now calls home. \u201cThey can be replaced. The important thing is that my family is safe.\u201d He stands tall, but George and his wife, along with their children and grandchildren, are left sorting through the damage and more than 30 years of memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s hard because we have to toss so much and I was saddened because I remember sitting around the table laughing with the family. We had so many memories in the house.\u201d said Park. \u201cBut the other night as we were cleaning up in the backyard, I looked around and we were all still laughing and sharing memories.\u201d The family realized they didn\u2019t need the house or its items to have everything they needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe came to visit George and Andrea and their family because it\u2019s important to make sure they are doing well in the aftermath of this tragedy,\u201d said Major Michele Heaver. \u201cIt&#8217;s important to let them know that people care.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even in the toughest of times, George remains strong in his faith. \u201cGod never gives you more than you can handle, but He pushed us to the
