(canteens), Adeline Carlton and Colene Bowman made treat bags for the children. Roy Fisher and Jerri Salley handed out treat bags as well as fun stickers to the kids. Every child who received a treat bag was excited and the parents were especially grateful for the gesture of kindness.

On Wednesday morning, prior to the crews’ evening, they each receive their own treat bag with a cookie, a bit of candy and a nice little note of appreciation for serving with such great attitudes and spreading the love of Christ.

During times of disaster, sometimes providing a little touch of something special goes a long way toward the healing process and taking just a bit
