LEARY, GA<\/strong> (October 25, 2018)<\/strong> \u2014 Recovery efforts continue in Baker County, Georgia, an area hit heavily by Hurricane Michael. The Salvation Army has supplied meals, hot dogs, buns, drinks, and assorted snacks for distribution. In pockets of the county, farmers and people in remote locations still had not had access to outside aid. A group of community members are doing what they can to change that. \u201cIt\u2019s a small community. We all pull together. We\u2019re doing what we can to get food to the people who cannot get out, whatever the reason,\u201d said Angel Davis. Another volunteer, Carolyn Conrad, spoke about her gratitude toward the linemen, community workers and volunteers she has met from around the country. \u201cI know we would all like to personally thank every single person who has traveled here, but we just can\u2019t.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
