Two Incident Management Teams (IMT), located in Albany and Bainbridge, Georgia, coordinate Salvation Army disaster relief efforts across the southern part of the Peach State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As power is steadily restored to main population centers, and in coordination with the Emergency Operations Center in Atlanta, GA and other VOAD agencies, The Salvation Army of Georgia continues to identify new geographical areas in need of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Virginia Baptist Disaster Relief Organization has partnered with The Salvation Army of Georgia to aid in relief services to South Georgia. They will provide cooking services for meals that will be distributed by Salvation Army canteens (mobile feeding units).
