ESC teams will now cover multiple locations throughout the area, offering a listening ear or comforting shoulder to survivors. The roving feeding unit will travel around Douglas and Nichols, bringing hot meals to survivors who may not have the ability to reach a feeding site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests for food service continue to come in daily and Salvation Army is currently feeding survivors at ten locations in eight counties around the Douglas area. Hot meals will be provided at each location unless indicated otherwise below. To date, the local operation has provided nearly 32,000 meals and over 13,500 snacks to survivors of Hurricane Helene.
