At least three tornadoes have been confirmed, with more likely to be reported after further investigation by the national weather service. The storms caused extensive damage, with cars overturned, roofs torn off, and trees uprooted. Damage assessments are ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Severe weather warnings were issued throughout the night, extending from Oklahoma to the Arkansas border. At least six people were reported injured. Additional storms are anticipated on Sunday afternoon and Monday. At the height of the outages, nearly 90,000 households lost power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday morning, the Oklahoma City Area Command deployed a canteen to provide hydration and snacks, stationed near Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, southeast of Oklahoma City. On Sunday, the Salvation Army provided 200 meals and will be providing meals, hydration, and emotional and spiritual care on Monday.&nbsp; While the crew was out on Sunday, a lady took a photo and posted to the officer of The Salvation Army\u2019s Citadel in Oklahoma City, \u201cMajor Becky (Gilliam), I don\u2019t know these two amazing people, but could you give them a big thank you for feeding everyone that was affected by the storm.&nbsp; My family and I were blessed and very, very grateful!&nbsp; Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Situational awareness and community assessments will continue as long as weather conditions allow.
