Spearfish, South Dakota\u2014Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) teams from the Black Hills are prepared to begin feeding residents of three Spearfish-area apartment buildings who were displaced after flash flooding occurred there over the weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Local Salvation Army personnel have been working alongside Red Cross representatives, who are set to open a shelter for the displaced residents today at noon. Plans call for Salvation Army feeding efforts to begin at the shelter tomorrow\u2014via a mix of meals being prepared in-house along with dozens of boxed lunches being prepared in partnership with a local restaurant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
