Families spoke of watching fish swim through their living rooms, of children enjoying swimming in their driveways, of concerns for family members without access to medical care, and most of all, of the complete gratefulness they feel seeing so much goodwill directed their way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou guys are angels,\u201d said Ray Steele after grabbing lunch boxes and water from a Salvation Army canteen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie Williams added, \u201cWe ate here last night. It was so wonderful. We were SO hungry. I just saw the truck drive by again and thought, \u2018Yes! I can eat.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another woman broke down in tears upon receiving a cold drink. \u201cOh my gosh! It\u2019s\u2026\u2026cold.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThank you!\u201d \u201cThank you for everything!\u201d The cries echoed even from passing cars. \u201cThank you, Salvation Army, for remembering
