distributed in Belle Chase, Louisiana, to people recovering from devastation brought\u00a0by Hurricane Ida.\u00a0Dozens of\u00a0Salvation Army Officers, employees and volunteers were on hand to work drive-thru distribution stations, each set-up with supplies, including food and breakfast boxes,\u00a0water,\u00a0MREs (Meal Ready Eat),\u00a0hygiene\u00a0kits, dry shampoo, toothbrushes, deodorant, socks, masks, laundry detergent and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As cars drove through the line,&nbsp;relief workers loaded vehicles with supplies,&nbsp;offering prayers and words of support&nbsp;following the devastation from Hurricane Ida. &nbsp;Plaquemines&nbsp;Parish&nbsp;President, Kirk Lepine, said&nbsp;the Parish has a long road ahead, and he is grateful to The Salvation Army for responding and organizing so quickly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to Hurricane Ida, The Salvation Army has&nbsp;provided:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FOOD SERVICE&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
