In the sweltering Louisiana heat, Captain Jamaal Ellis leans toward the window of a vehicle, and begins to pray. He is praying for purpose, guidance, and God’s direction. It is a request the driver made- despite the long road ahead following Hurricane Ida, the people in the car have a spiritual need that Captain Ellis can provide.
