Together, they\u2019re making sure neighbors have what they need &#8211; whether it\u2019s a snack, clean water, or simply a listening ear and spiritual care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EDS team members are also working inside State and County Emergency Operations Centers to keep relief efforts coordinated with Wisconsin Emergency Management, and other partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, the need is urgent. The Salvation Army\u2019s stock of flood kits &#8211; buckets filled with cleaning supplies to help families start the long road to recovery &#8211; is running low. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur neighbors are hurting, and every flood kit represents relief, dignity, and hope for a family beginning the recovery process,\u201d said Benny Benedict, The Salvation Army\u2019s Emergency Disaster Services Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least 500-1,000 more kits are needed immediately. Each kit costs just $30 to put together and includes essentials like cleaner, scrub brushes, mops, brooms, trash bags, squeegee, gloves, and masks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How the public can help:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Donate<\/strong>: Every $30 provides a flood kit for a family in need.
