Thirteen people were transported to local hospitals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airport emergency management contacted The Salvation Army of Tampa with a request to provide assistance to passengers. Officers and volunteers quickly deployed and provided emotional and spiritual care at the airport.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Major Mark Woodcock, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Tampa reported, \u201cWe arrived within thirty minutes of receiving the call. We were able to visit with the passengers, and the good news is everyone was in good spirits, even those with children. As you can understand, this was a dramatic experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passengers able to continue their travel were booked on later flights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201d We were very grateful to
