The Salvation Army provides disaster survivors with critically needed emergency supplies such as nonperishable food, water, baby supplies, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies. If you want to offer goods that The Salvation Army can use to help disaster survivors, please complete the form below.
Before donating goods to disaster relief, The Salvation Army encourages you to consider the following:
Financial donations are always the BEST way to help during a disaster. A cash donation allows charitable relief agencies like The Salvation Army to quickly buy whatever disaster survivors need most!
Essential Products. Confirm what products are needed BEFORE doing any collections.
Shipping Arrangements. The Salvation Army does not have the resources to arrange transportation for donations. Any goods that are accepted must be sorted and appropriately packed, palletized, and shrink-wrapped before being shipped to The Salvation Army.
Used clothing, furniture, and motor vehicles are not needed during a disaster. The Salvation Army does count on these donations to fund its local programs through sales at Family Thrift Stores. Donate used clothing, furniture, or motor vehicles to your local Salvation Army. Call 1-800-SA-TRUCK (1-800-728-7825) to arrange a pick-up or to find the nearest drop-off location.
Be wary of anyone who claims that "everything is needed." Communities hit by a disaster can be quickly overwhelmed by well-intentioned but uncoordinated shipments of donated goods and often do not have the time, disaster workers, or money to manage unneeded products. Please donate responsibly!
Please send any requests to disasterdonations@uss.salvationarmy.org with the following information, Name, Email, Phone, Address,Items To Donate, Condition, Quantity, Shipping, and if it is a Corporate gift.
