DuPage County, IL – The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (“EDS”) staff and volunteers are assisting individuals affected by the tornado.

Two EDS rapid response vehicles will travel to the impacted neighborhoods in Naperville, Woodridge, and Darien to offer snacks and bottled water to homeowners and first responders. Salvation Army EDS staff and volunteers will also be available to provide Emotional and Spiritual support to homeowners if requested.

Overnight, EDS provided snacks and bottled water to displaced families at Ranchview Elementary School at the request of the Naperville Fire Department. This crew has since been released.

EDS is prepared to assist further, and deploy additional personnel and resources, as requested.
