CONNECTICUT – The Salvation Army is actively preparing for the impact of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Henri. An Incident Command Team at The Salvation Army’s Southern New England Headquarters has been established in Hartford, covering any response needs in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Our Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) mobile canteen teams have been put on standby, as well as our fixed Corps locations, to be able to provide feeding and other needed supports to those affected. Our EDS department is also in regular coordination with local, state, federal, and non-profit partners to determine emergency needs and manage responses across the state.
