Severe storms last night resulted in three tornadoes touching down in Augusta and Defiance, Missouri, and Edwardsville, Illinois. The Midland Division Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) team was dispatched to provide support in all three locations, but their efforts have been concentrated on the destruction of an Amazon Warehouse located in Edwardsville, IL, where workers were trapped.

The EDS team provided hydration and snacks to first responders and utility workers at the disaster site from 11:30 PM on Friday, December 10 to 5:30 AM on Saturday, December 11. They supported ten separate fire departments that were on-site to assist and the Madison County Emergency Management Department has requested they return as rescue operations continue.
