The Salvation Army deployed response teams immediately after deadly tornadoes struck the South and Midwest on December 10. We are providing food, shelter, drinks, emotional and spiritual care, and other basic necessities for survivors and first responders. Walmart and the Walmart Foundation are also supporting these communities, with $1 million committed for relief, including water, hot meals, supplies and support for local organizations.

Many have asked how they can help with disaster efforts. We’ve created lists of much-needed items for the impacted communities on Walmart.com’s Registry for Good. You can click on the links below and explore the registry. Items purchased through the registry will be shipped directly to a Salvation Army and distributed to those that need it most.

With a presence in every ZIP code of the country, The Salvation Army is uniquely positioned to help and will continue until long after recovery is complete. Your generous contributions of essential supplies through Walmart’s Registry for Good will provide relief in the greatest moments of need.
