Hurricane Isaias strengthened to a Category 3 hurricane before making landfall near Destin in Florida’s Panhandle as a Category 2 storm. The hurricane brought damaging winds, storm surge, heavy rainfall, and tornadoes to communities across the region before continuing inland through the Southeast.
