Corinth, Mississippi – The Salvation Army is serving the public after Saturday’s severe weather, which caused power outages and tree and wind damage to an unknown number of homes in the Corinth area. The Salvation Army of Corinth is providing meals for a local shelter that has opened in the wake of the storm. In addition to serving displaced residents, The Salvation Army is also providing meals for work crews at the request of the local Emergency Management Agency (EMA), and feeding the staff of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

“It is an honor to serve our community, and we will continue to serve as long as we are needed,” said Michelle Miles, Salvation Army of Corinth Service Center Manager. “Our area has been hit hard. Please join us in praying for those affected,” Michelle added.
