For years, Polaris Inc., a leading manufacturer of powersports products based in Minnesota, has cultivated a strong partnership with The Salvation Army, pledging dedicated support for disaster relief initiatives. This collaboration has proven instrumental as Polaris contributes its innovative off-road vehicles to bolster The Salvation Army’s efforts in responding to natural disasters, including hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods.

Polaris’ cutting-edge vehicles significantly enhance The Salvation Army’s capabilities, enabling swift deployment of resources and personnel to areas in urgent need. This vital support is crucial in aiding communities as they embark on the challenging journey of recovery and rebuilding.

In a recent act of generosity, Polaris made an additional donation that allowed The Salvation Army to acquire a vehicle perfectly suited to its specific needs. This newly acquired vehicle enabled The Salvation Army to share one of their existing units with the Mustang Fire Department, further extending the reach of Polaris’ impact.

Chief Craig Carruth of the Mustang Fire Department expressed his gratitude for the donated Polaris vehicle, noting its potential to revolutionize community events. “The Polaris will be used for various community events, helping us transport equipment and staff in tight quarters where larger vehicles cannot fit,” Chief Carruth explained. “A one or two-person team can be stationed with medical response equipment and other necessary items for special events.”

He added, “The Polaris will be a significant addition and component to our services, allowing for versatility and a positive impact on the community we serve. We are truly grateful to The Salvation Army.”

Through this partnership, Polaris Inc. continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting disaster relief and community well-being, reflecting a shared vision with The Salvation Army of rebuilding and strengthening communities in the face of adversity.
